We offer two different ear styles on our standard pressure welded baskets. The style on the left is what the majority of basket users will require. This smaller ear intrudes less into the basket above while maintaining a positive stack of the baskets. This ensures good stacking while not interfering with the liner of the basket above.

The ear on the left shows that a 5/8" diameter round bar can pass through the opening. The ear on the right shows that a 1" diameter rod can pass through. We do not recommend hoist lifting off of the stacking ears, because this can add to basket distortion and decrease overall basket life. However, we do recognize that some users must lift off of the ears, so we keep the option of ears open to the customer

This schematic shows the actual dimensions of the ears. The smaller is standard unless specified by the customer.
