"Record Racks":
This is a heavy duty "record" rack designed to hold round or odd shaped parts and prevent them from touching each other. The amount of supports required will depend on the size and weight of the parts. It is helpful to have a drawing of the part to design the fixture. It will be required at the time of fabrication to have a few sample parts.
Like all of our custom designed fixtures, record racks can be made to stack and load directly into furnaces. They can also be designed to be non-stackable and fit into standard furnace baskets. This will save on fixturing cost, but comes at the expense of parts per load.
Typically, record racks are used to hold washers or other disc shaped parts.
Record racks can also be used to held rectangular or irregular shaped stampings.
